Shawnee Mission East Prairie Village, Kansas
SMECLASS OF 2011

Fifteen years later. Come say hi.

One night between Christmas and New Year's, at a spot in Prairie Village that wasn't here when we were. Name tags included.

Fair warning

Reunions can be weird.

We'd rather be a little weird together than skip it.

Nobody has to have it figured out. No highlight reels, no résumés, no comparing. Some of us are in a good spot, some of us are in the middle of something hard, and most of us are both on any given Tuesday.

This is a night to see faces we haven't seen in a long time and have some fun together. You'll get a name tag at the door, because we all will have forgotten some anyways.

Where it started

You could probably draw this from memory.

The track, the courts, the long way around to the pool entrance. Same campus, fifteen years later, and a few of us a little slower getting across it.

The bigger plan

2030 gets a bigger table.

2009201020112012

This year may be a smaller room, and that's fine. In 2030 we want to bring the classes of 2009 through 2012 together for one multi-generational SME reunion, then do it again every five years after that.

Coming this December is how we start the tradition.

  1. Now

Fill out the form below. Tell us how you are and where you are.

  2. By end of November

We send RSVPs to everyone on the list, with the start time and details.

  3. Dec 30

Big Grove, name tags, and a room full of people who knew you at sixteen.

Save the date, and tell us how you are.

Think of this like a wedding save-the-date. Fill it out to get on the list and you'll get an RSVP by the end of November. Starting local, so if you know anyone from '11 around Kansas City, pass it on.

HELLO
my name is
This is what goes on your name tag.

A maiden name or nickname helps people find you.

Just for reunion updates. No spam, and no list sold to anyone.

Only the people planning this will read it. Skip it if you'd rather. It helps us make the night feel like people, not a highlight reel.
